- Experience with using C++ and readiness to use it for development (at least 4 years of experience)
- Skills in designing distributed solutions or experience in optimisation on the level of software — interaction with the hardware
- Understanding data structures and algorithms
- Experience with multi-threading and asynchronous programming
- Knowledge of processor architecture and network protocols

- Experience with Linux kernel stack optimisation or circumvention tool usage through user-space would be a big plus
- Ability to introduce and adhere to engineering and product development best practices
